EMMETT TOWNSHIP, MI — A job application is usually where an employer learns about your experience, your availability, and your qualifications.

But an employment application obtained by FAFO Justice from the Vegas Strip Club on Raymond Road,  appears to ask applicants something very different:

Employment Application For Vegas Strip in Emmett Township Leaked to FAFO Justice

Not what they can do.

But what they are willing to reveal.

The document includes a disclaimer stating:

“These Answers are for FUN and will be READ out loud.”

What follows is a list of questions that go far beyond traditional hiring information — including questions about an applicant’s alcohol preferences, sexual interests, fantasies, and personal experiences.

The application reportedly asks:

– “What is your favorite Beer?”

– “What is your favorite cocktail?”

– “What is your favorite shot?”

– “What is the best pickup line you’ve ever heard?”

– “What is your biggest turn on?”

– “What is your biggest turn off?”

– “What is your favorite sexual position and why?”

– “If you could have sex with any celebrity, who would it be and why?”

And that is only the first section.

The second page continues:

– “Have you ever been involved in an orgy? (4 or more people at once)”

– “What is your sexual fantasy?”

– “Do you Spit or Swallow?”

– “And now the question you’ve been waiting for: Do you like 1, 2 or 3 inputs?”

– “If we offer you a job at Vegas Strip what could we offer you that other clubs don’t offer?”

The question now facing the community is simple:

Why are these questions part of a hiring process?

THE “IT’S JUST FOR FUN” DEFENSE

The phrase “for FUN” does not automatically erase workplace concerns.

A person applying for a job is not in the same position of power as the person offering employment.

Applicants may feel pressure to answer questions they would never voluntarily disclose in a normal professional setting — because their ability to earn money may depend on making a good impression.

The concern is not simply that the questions are unusual.

The concern is that personal, intimate information appears to be collected before employment — and the document itself states those answers may be read aloud.

WHEN THE APPLICATION BECOMES THE EVIDENCE

Investigations often come down to one thing:

Documentation.

A claim can be debated.

A conversation can be disputed.

But a written application asking applicants to disclose private details creates a permanent record.

The document itself raises questions about workplace culture, applicant privacy, and whether boundaries were crossed during the hiring process.

FROM BUSINESS OWNER TO PUBLIC OFFICIAL

The concerns become even more significant because the person connected to the business is not just a private citizen.

Steven Titus is also an elected trustee on the Emmett Charter Township Board.

Titus is also associated with local businesses including Lucky Rooster Kitchen & Cocktails and One Nation Tap & Table.

Public officials are held to a higher level of public scrutiny because their decisions impact the community.

That creates a legitimate public question:

Does the judgment reflected in a business practice matter when that same person is helping make decisions for taxpayers?

FAFO JUSTICE: FOLLOWING THE PAPER TRAIL

This investigation is not about whether a business operates in the adult entertainment industry.

It is about whether job applicants were placed in a position where personal privacy became part of the price of employment.

FAFO Justice is reviewing the documentation and providing information to appropriate agencies for consideration, including:

– Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

– Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR)

– Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC)

Because at the end of the day, the question isn’t whether someone can run a business.

The question is:

When someone applies for a job, should they have to expose their private life before they can earn a paycheck?

The documents are speaking.

FAFO Justice is listening.
